Preface
As an avid cyclist, my journey on two wheels spans many years and experiences. My cycling story began during my professional years working in Makati, where I established a daily routine of commuting by bike from my home in Sucat, Paranaque. This wasn't just transportation. It became a passion that evolved into long-distance rides with friends, pushing my endurance and strengthening my love for cycling.
Like many passionate pursuits in life, my cycling journey has had its coming and going. After several dedicated years, I took a hiatus that lasted a few years. However, the call of the road couldn't be ignored forever. Last year marked my return to cycling, and I'm proud to say I've maintained consistent momentum since then, witnessing steady progress in my performance and endurance.
My approach to cycling has evolved with time and experience. While I once primarily enjoyed the freedom of outdoor rides, my current focus has shifted to indoor workouts, prioritizing safety without sacrificing the quality of my training. To enhance this experience, I've created a personalized room (or what cyclists call a "pain cave") for added comfort especially during high-intensity workouts.
